I acknowledge as of August 16, 2022, in compliance with the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022, a nonrefundable Expression of Interest (EOI) Application Fee (currently $5.00 USD) is required per acre of land (rounded up to the nearest whole) nominated for oil and gas leasing.

The submitted EOI application will not be processed by the applicable Bureau of Land Management (BLM) State Office until the entire nonrefundable EOI Application Fee is paid. After submission of the EOI application in NFLSS, please provide a copy of the NFLSS Submission Confirmation page and the total amount due to the appropriate BLM State Office. BLM State Office contact information and total amount due is provided on the NFLSS Submission Confirmation page.

Based on the new EOI Application Fee requirement, EOI applications (also known as nominations) can no longer be submitted anonymously. Nominator contact information must be provided.
